Ecuador, A Climate Compendium

The closeness to the sea, the cold warm currents of Humboldt and Niño and the Andes Orientation modify Ecuador's climate latitudinal factor and produce thermal reduction and pluviometric variation.  Ecuador has so numerous contrasted and variable climates that it is fair to say it has a compendium of every climate on earth. That's why Ecuador inhabitants have developed all kinds of crop planting. Many scientific observations about Ecuador climate have been made by foreigners but there are also some studies done by nationals. In the ecuadorian Sierra, a struggle between altitude climates and tropic climates is witnessed. Finally, Ecuador is an intertropical country and climatic seasons do not apparently exist. Therefore, Ecuador is a climate mosaic.
